Solar-Powered Autonomous Irrigation

Closed-loop irrigation that lives outdoors and never asks for power. Capacitive moisture sensors regulate a peristaltic pump through an Arduino threshold loop, fed by a solar-charged 12V battery regulated to 5V. Housing modeled in Fusion 360 for IP-friendly assembly.

Split Mechanical Keyboard

A full low-profile, ortholinear, column-staggered split keyboard built end-to-end. Custom PCBs handle the key matrix through diodes into a nice!nano controller, with ZMK firmware I wrote from scratch — keymaps, layers, Bluetooth pairing, and split-half communication. Designed around ergonomics first: column stagger that follows finger length, low-profile switches for a flatter wrist angle, and a split form factor for shoulder-width typing.

Dual-Channel Analog Audio Equaliser with Optical Transmission

Discrete-component analog processor. Stereo split into independent L/R op-amp stages for clean gain and balance, passive RC networks shape treble and bass equalization, then the analog voltage modulates high-speed LEDs across an air gap into IR photodiodes that drive the speakers.

Centripetal Cup Holder

A wearable cup holder that clips to a waistband. The arm pivots freely so centripetal force during walking presses liquid down into the cup instead of sloshing it out — the same principle that keeps water in a bucket swung overhead. Fully passive: no electronics, no actuators, one pivot.

Rising senior at Singapore American School, heading toward electrical and electronics engineering. My work spans embedded systems, circuit design, and fabrication — applied to functional products, not just demos.

Selected for SAS's Quest Program, a full-day yearlong interdisciplinary track comprising a cohort of 23 students from the ~660 upperclassman pool. The curriculum pairs advanced Advanced Topics (AT) studies with applied professional experiences, including a 10-day industry internship and a 6-week non-profit consulting engagement across 2026–2027.

Software developer on the school's MATE ROV team, responsible for photogrammetry/3D mapping algorithms for a makeshift coral reef. Team advanced to the MATE ROV World Championship.

Self-taught in Arduino, KiCad, and Fusion 360 through independent projects. Incoming president of the Motorsports Club and member of SAVE.

Embedded with the VirtiLens engineering team between 9th and 10th grade to study how immersive systems are built end-to-end. Focused on the V20 Cricket title (launched by DJ Bravo): how the engine handles ball-flight physics, bat-collision response, headset tracking, and frame-rate budgets on standalone VR hardware. Reviewed the broader game pipeline — 3D asset import, scene composition, interaction scripting, and build deployment — and how AI components are wired into gameplay and analytics across their other VR titles.
